When you take time to apply proper beauty techniques and products, it really does show. It shows that you care about proper application and that you want to look your “your best.” That is very admirable. As with any other skill set, you can always add and improve. Below are some tips to help.
Thin out your sticky nail polish with a little nail polish remover. Put a little polish remover in it and then shake it up. By doing this, you can get a couple of more uses out of the bottle.
Apply Vaseline to your feet before you go to bed at night. Your feet will feel as smooth as a baby’s bottom. Adding this into your nightly regimen can make it easy to remember. After applying the vaseline, take out a pair of socks and cover your feet before going to sleep.
Keep your eye gel in your refrigerator. This can help soothe puffy eyes or dark circles around your eyes. Cool eye gel can really make your eyes look refreshed after a long night out. Just apply it as you normally would to see results that are immediate and will last all day.
Instead of simply applying lipstick directly to your lips from the tube, invest in a good lip brush. This allows you to create a more well-defined shape that does not smear or smudge around the mouth. Pucker up, then pull your finger through your lips to prevent any lipstick from smudging on your teeth.
Exfoliate your face and neck at least 2 times a week. Exfoliating helps remove dead skin cells and bring new skin cells to the surface. This will make you look healthy and refreshed when you do this, but you should avoid doing it too much because it can irritate your face.
When you first wake up in the morning you should pamper yourself. The best way to start your day off on the right foot is to take the time to brush your hair, wash your face, and brush your teeth. Do not neglect your own needs if you want to stay beautiful.
To whiten and brighten your teeth, add a little baking soda to your toothbrush once a week. Just sprinkle a little baking soda in the palm of your hand, dampen your toothbrush and press the bristles into the baking soda, add toothpaste and brush your teeth as usual. Don’t do this more than once a week since baking soda can be hard on your tooth enamel if overused.
You can combine peppermint oil and purified water to make an alcohol free, all natural mouthwash. Only use a drop of the oil for every ounce of water. Boil the water, then measure your oil into a glass container that is large enough to hold your mixture. Add boiling water for the next step. Cover the container with a clean cloth (i.e. a handkerchief) and allow to cool. Pour the final mixture into a bottle. Make sure the bottle can be tightly closed. Now you have your mouthwash!
You have the tools, the products, and the skill set, to apply these tips in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Fabulous! The above tips were constructed to add to your personal regimen, as you are never done learning or improving. You may have even found a new “regular” or favorite for yourself.
